Romans 8:35 Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? ~ The answer to these questions is an emphatic NO! Nothing can separate Christ from us once we ask Him into our hearts. But also realize that troubles are NOT an indication that God is withholding His love for us. Calamity, persecution, hunger, destitution, danger, and death are all a result of living in a broken world. Let’s praise God that this world is not our home!! (Be a witness)
Growing in Jesus
Colossians 2:6-7 And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. ~ The Christian life is never stagnant. Once we accept Jesus we must continue to be vigilant in the choice to follow after Him. As we grow in our understanding of who He is, the Bible, and grow strong ties to other Believers then deep roots of faith grow in our lives. When we are rooted in our faith we are able to stand strong when we go through the storms of this life. (Be a witness)
It’s Beautiful
Blessings on you all today!
Ecclesiastes 3:11 Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. ~ Sometimes it’s hard to see the beauty in things, people, or life’s events. It’s easy to be overwhelmed, stressed, and busy yet we don’t take the time to see the beauty that surrounds us. He sees us as His beautiful creation. Remember that God has made us unique in His image. Look in the mirror and smile at God’s beautiful creation! (Be a witness)
Patience
by Pastor Ralph Ford, Sr.
"For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly." Psalm 84:11 If you are acting on the Word and planting good seeds, don't let the devil discourage you and cause you to give up too soon. But if the course of your life is going the wrong direction, and it is not getting better over time, then it would be wise to consider your ways and make changes. This is not something that should be done too hastily. Often the only thing we are doing wrong that keeps God's provision from manifesting in our life is giving up on our faith too soon. Jesus told us the kingdom of God works like a seed. A seed takes time to grow. (Be a witness)
