About Us

“Go therefore into all the world…

and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28:18-20

These words were the Great Commission that Jesus left His disciples with as He ascended to Heaven to prepare a place for them (John 14:3). He promised to come back to get His people, and left us with signs and evidence in Bible prophecy as to how we should know that Day is approaching so we can be ready. As Seventh-Day Adventists, we believe He will be coming back very soon, maybe even in our lifetime… and that means we have work to do. Our aim is to get closer to Jesus every day, to love others like He loves us, and to surrender to His leading so we can help make sure as many are ready to meet Him as possible.

What We Believe

The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a mainstream Protestant Christian church with approximately 19 million members worldwide, including more than one million members in North America. New Hope Church seeks to enhance quality of life for people everywhere and to let people know that Jesus is coming again soon.

We believe that a Trinity of three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—make up one God. Salvation was made possible when Jesus, the eternal and divine Son, came to earth incarnated as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father’s will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone.

When He returned to heaven following the resurrection, Jesus left the Holy Spirit to serve as our Comforter and Counselor. He promised to return to earth a second time to complete His plan of salvation and take His people to heaven. Adventists are among the believers who look forward to that day.

We believe that God is concerned with the quality of human life, and that everything—the way we live, eat, speak, think, treat each other, and care for the world around us—is important to Him. He cares about our families, our children, our jobs, our talents, our money, and our time.
